First off I would keep my plan a secret until I had all the coins, don't want any of you driving up the price on me (LOL)

You say that in jest, but it's true. Back in the 60s-70s, some guys were researching something about 1944d and 1945d cents and needed a million or so. You'd think that was nothing out of those huge mintages, but buying prices got up to $5+ a roll before they got enough.

I'd go for Japanese gold coins. The prices of the 20 yen (Y52) are crazy enough

TS - I didn't know until later that the researhers were causing the price rise, and it made no sense otherwise.

I hereby bequeath my wonderful nephew/niece $500,000, BUT.... he/she MUST spend it on a coin collection.

I suppose you can somehow justify the land as "coin collecting supplies" by providing them a secure location!

I love it! Even better than my justification.

I would expect more gold and silver finds out there.
