Nice haul, indeed. I am curious where to find half dollar rolls in any quantity. No banks near here will order them. I hear casinos have them. Any secrets to share on getting rolls?

That is really odd. I have never had a bank refuse to order coin, and I've had over a dozen bank accounts. It may be more difficult if you are small town. I believe that the last few years roll hunters have been their own worst enemies, by poaching other hunter's boxes, parking lot searchers (they come right back in, dump, then ask for more coin), hunters throwing a fit because their box was 2 coins short, and so on. Your best bet is to call around to different banks, ask for head or vault teller and ask them, if you open an account will they order halves for you. Good luck.

Ya it's so funny I went into a casino and they sold me $800 in dollar coins one big mixed bag of all three presidential, sac and Susan's and then went into a credit union and bought $2300 in halves and they also had $2000 in Presidential dollars which I have not picked up.

Quote: So should I at least keep the NIFC Kennedy's? Most definitely! The less out there, the less that get in my way when I'm silver surfing a box!

It was but I guess I'll take back to the bank what I do not need . I can't even sell a roll off of CL and won't sell on ebay.

Your average was close to 6 40% per box. Seldom do I do that well. Most recent 2 boxes netted 1-1968 and 1-1969, along with a 1942 and 1954. So I would be pleased with those boxes. Webekin
