I'd get it graded prior to selling it personally.

Congrats on the find, that's huge! I'm with GrapeCollects, you should definitely have it slabbed. Don't forget, you need to ask for the attribution or they won't include it with the grade.

That depends. If you were to consign it for auction at GreatCollections, they'd get it done for you (costs around $30) and just take that out of the final check you'd get.

Great find!

As to slabbing, do the numbers beforehand. See if you can find one sold in the original package as well before assuming the slab will make more profit (it might not, I don't know!).

Grapecollects had a great ideas as well.

Confused67 to the CCF!

congratulations

At Great Collections if it sells for more then $1000 then the buyer pays the fees... so better to sell at Great Collections than ebay.

the fee will only be $10 for listing.

No grades below this on PCGS on their site. Probably getting people to fish on the idea for a while to get a few more listed. Prices drops fast when they are not the highest grades.

Nice find - good to hear from our experts that this is the desired variety. Hope you can find the proper venue to sell if that is your objective.

That's awesome. Great advice Grape. I remember the cheerios Lincoln's when I was a kid but never knew there was a dollar. Great find and hope you get a nice premium for it. Personally it hurts me to sell my high dollar coins. I'm vowing to keep them from here on out!

Confused these guys are spot on with the grade 9 out of 10 times. I could be mistaken but a 70 does not exist.
