That is not solder, it is a die chip, pretty large one but common in the area of the hair. Do not take a soldering iron to it, you said it was your first find so keep it as a good example. The iron would damage it.

Think there is a die chip at the bottom of the torch/reverse. It shows in the pic in the first post, but here is a closer pic.

Found the sibling to the die chip 2020 P Roosevelt dimeThis is amazing; I wondered to myself "Why is the dime in my spending change?" Only to find out that I have a second dime with the same error!
