Update: Confirmed order and they shipped. Expecting to get Saturday and will upload pictures! Cheapest First 50K Minted, NGC MS70 Nice Gang/8th Era coins on ebay are going for $320 at auction right now and look likes they go for ~$350 Considered that the standard NGC MS70 coin goes for $160, you really just pay for that label!

Wow... congrats! I am a skeptic on these but I must confess that I do kinda like them. I'll play along until when it gets stupid. I'll be looking for an ungraded one for my CAPS album at some point... probably when I am pre-buying my 2026 raw ASE from JMB in several months. Which should be an interesting time considering... you know. Question... if all of these early release eagle privy ASEs are going to get an MS70...what is the point? At what point do the graders start sneaking in "MS70+" designations or *gasp* "MS71"? Feels like Spinal Tap to me.

Of the first 50k made of the star privy, NGC graded about 32,000 of them of which 9,600 of them were ms70, 16k being ms69, and 6k being ms65. So not all 50k were ms70. Makes it much more "rare" given the label is the 8th era one. https://www.ngccoin.com/population-...7/varieties/

I just bought 2 of them, one from ebay for $55.00 in an NGC holder picture just shows a generic image with no grade but rather says 'sample' I'll cut that one out for my Dansco album, and the other I bought from MCM (Modern Coin Mart) in a PCGS Holder MS70 grade for $155.00

MS70 In a PCGS holder for $155 is a fantastic deal. That just tells you how much people are willing to spend for the label! For the Star and Eagle Privy it makes a bit of sense as its in collaboration with 8th Era so its a nice touch but as for the coins value itself, $155 is a great price. If you download the game, you can get the MS70 with 8th Era label for $100. It took me 3 days of playing to get to level 8. In case they make ANOTHER privy for 8th Era. I also have to say that I am disappointed in the presentation box of the eagle privy. In the star privy, if you got it thru 8th Era game, it came in a black box with the game label and pull out tab for the slab. This one was shipped in just a cardboard holder.

I purchased one of these on a presale from Pinehurst on May 1st, Received it June 6th. In August, I did an ANACS submittal that arrived yesterday: Between the initial purchase, grading, taxes, and shipping, I'm into this for $69.00. A quick check of "Sold" transactions on the bay shows a bunch of First Strike, Early Release, and other labelled MS-69's selling from $52 - 72. MS70's are in the $100-120 range. I did not look up "completed / sold" transactions for raw examples. My lesson learned: If the USM does PM bullion eagles in the future, I can do better waiting 6-12 months to get them on the secondary market; have to resist the FOMO urge for this type of ASE.
