You should try to find the penny that goes with your half penny.

All because I bought another token at the coin shop....
I will probably start collecting tokens now... They are quite interesting. The first one has a die crack. Its a bank of upper canada one penny.

Well the penny, to the one you posted, would be a little bigger and go nicely with the one you have...
You should post the upper canada one.

Not yet... I've been looking for one, but I haven't won one for my price yet. I got the one penny from my local coin store, but he doesn't see many like that down here in Arizona! LOL

The Quebec Bank Token Half Penny 1852 is listed as PC-3 in the Charlton.
The Bank of Upper Canada Token One Penny 1857 is listed as PC-6D. There is also dates of 1850, 1852, 1854 and 1857 (both sizes) in this series if you like it.

I borrowed an old Charlton 'Canadian Colonial Tokens' from the library. I don't know much about tokens but like them.
