Quote: Quote: "Knowing what I know, how can I not?". There is FAR too much order in this universe to have "just happened". Systems that "just happen" are highly disordered, extremely chaotic, barely function at the microscopic level, and completely incapable of attaining a high degree of ordered development.
I'd argue that this is typical teleocentric thinking though. We are, so there must be meaning to us being here. There's no problem with that until this type of thinking empowers one group of people do stuff that negatively/unwanted-ly affects another group.
The reverse, which is that there are disproportionally much much MUCH more disorder in the universe to think anything that happens on this ol'blue spec of a plant has anything to do with anything. Accepting this doesn't mean I have to unhappy though. I am plenty upbeat when the missus asked me "why don't I see you buying any more silver coins lately, the prices are good aren't they?". To which I replied "I love you baby" :)
That is far too deep for me old mate. I'm just your average Aussie that goes through life enjoying helping when I can and hoping that the care will be reciprocated in the long run

To add to Ed's thoughts, words from a late scientist who I admired an thought had much figured out way before his time....
"But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright Brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love.
I am often amazed at how much more capability and enthusiasm for science there is among elementary school youngsters than among college students.
If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.
Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere.
It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
Our species needs, and deserves, a citizenry with minds wide awake and a basic understanding of how the world works.
Personally, I would be delighted if there were a life after death, especially if it permitted me to continue to learn about this world and others, if it gave me a chance to discover how history turns out." Carl Sagan
I had watched his series called "The Cosmos" in recent years, an always thought he was way ahead of his time when that series came out 30 plus years ago....

I'm copying this down and making it my own SilverHawk! awesome words.
and to our friend from the other hemisphere, dido. If I must believe in something, karma would be it. In practice: continue printing paper money and paper money will eventually come flying back in your face, worthless. ( <== here's to pulling the conversation back to PMs :) )

Its my thread Trout an all, I can say what what I wanna say. Just is what it is. If you are not interested in what I have to share, move on to something else .... As I talk about PMz 23 out of 24 hours of the day, I think I got that subject covered as well....

I will add that if I drifted off subject as I often do. If I was using inappropriate language an talking about a nonconstructive subject, via science, I could see where it would be offensive to some. Otherwise in my opinion I think it is just useful information I share....
Again if I had pour taste in my choice of subjects or was saying something shall we say nonconstructive, then I could see where it may be an issue, but seeing as how I the subject matter I often speak of is constructive, I fail to see any harm in it....

I watched that a few years ago. It was a really good show. The whole reason he made the series was because other scientists told him (carl) that it was impossible to explain science to normal people

There is this seen on human evolution SilvercoinRN in one of the episodes, where he takes a simple drawing of some of the earliest known lifeforms right out of the ocean, an through early computer animation the lifeforms transforms over a period of a minute or so all the way to up right walking human beings, not even beginning with the shrew of man, even though it was in the mix, lol...
One of the most simplistic yet brilliant things I have ever seen to date on the subject of human evolution and most likely the most accurate....

Well it was an article I posted as well from an email I received as well, if you go back an check the first post....
And your point is valid and a good one SC as silver has not broke out....
Fine example of you can't always believe what you read. That stock guy sends emails to me all the time trying to get me to fork out cask for the secret info, lol. I just thought it comical that one link as he rarely ever mentioned silver, and perhaps this is why is has been so WRONG thus far....
My glass half full optimism is often proven wrong as well, and that is when you all should expect it spike again, when we all least expect it....

I think we will see a breakout into the low $30's by the end of the month. I see gold breaking out first and dragging silver along up. I think the European reality is setting in and we will see a slow move to PM's this month and an acceleration into July. Mind you,I don't think these will be the explosive, speculative run-ups we have gotten used to,but a steady climb up for a few months. Of course, this could all change quickly if the US and Russia start sabre rattling over Syria and Iran. We sure live in interesting times.

Well, silver is starting to drop a bit today and I think ti's time to pull the trigger on that 100-ounce Engelhard silver bar I've had my eye on. Which pretty much guarantees that silver will take a sharp nosedive immediately afterwards...

Well,it is past 10 AM eastern time so the daily PM smackdown has occurred. Let's see what happens from here. I am reservedly positive and optomistic that the trend will be slowly up from here. I always try to watch what is happening around the world to figure where things are going. I don't think manipulation can work forever. It is all cover for those who need to to position themselves for the next leg up. Keep the faith and keep stacking!
