Well that is way cool T, an as close as I will ever get to winning. I would have to eat my words for sure after getting 100 ASE's a real nice jesture win or lose, thanks! Moderation in anything is o.k., and dreaming as I always say is a good thing and probably the best of things. I always think of little Charley spotting that shinny Morgan silver dollar in the gutter, his ticket to the golden ticket.... It would not hurt me one bit to contribute a buck or two back into the system ever once in a while on the big pay off jackpots, or like you five bucks blown every once in a bluemoon is not gonna make a difference either way, unless you get lucky enough to win it all....

Rarely does it happen but the best time I have collecting is looking through bags of random coins, US or World when I can find them, so I think I would search for large hoards of coins and spend my days just sifting away my free time. I have a 16 and 7 year old so I don't have a lot of free time but what I have will be much more enjoyable. P.S. If I win there will be some very nice contest on CCF soon after.

I would try an change the world for the better while traveling the world for some time. That is a great idea mentioned above....
Rockefeller was greedy an did nothing to change the world an he got real sick in early fifties, lost his hair an eyebrows, could not eat, mystery to doctors who announced he was terminal....
On the advice of a friend he went to see a medium after much convincing, and he told him much about his early life, stuff only Rockefeller would know. Went on to tell him he was here to change the world, and God was upset as he had failed to do so to that point....
One week later he started contributing huge amounts of money to things like research labs which found the cure for polio eventually, not to mentioned developed penicillin. He also was a key financial contributor to Tuskegee college, the one in the same college which produced the WORLD famous Tuskegee airmen, the P-51 mustang red-tail first all black regiment that lead the bombers to Berlin, losing zero along the way....
To make a most TRUE long story short he got better, lived to be like 98 an had several children an grandchildren....
No doubt if I had the means I would attempt to change the world for the better in a similar fashion....

Quote: I am financially quite secure, and with that warm fuzzy feeling, and I don't need any more money just now. I'm OK, thanks all the same! Same here, Sel. Unlike a lot of billionaires, we have something that they do not. We have enough. Quote: No doubt if I had the means I would attempt to change the world for the better in a similar fashion.... A worthy goal, if ever there was one. There is a saying about this that goes like this, "To those who are given much, much is expected". Giving a good chunk of a windfall like this to worthy charities would be good.

I would donate a nice chunk to places like The Ronald McDonald house and childrens cancer hospitals. It breaks my heart to see innocent children with debilitating diseases. I would want them to have a chance at life and if money would help, then that's putting it to good use ;-)

And I would put a huge chunk into helping neglected dogs an cats as well and other animals, as nothing seems to bother me in this world more then a innocent mistreated animal. Weird, don't get me wrong I love people and humans, my close friends family, etc., but I have always have put my care an love for animals right on the EXACT same plain as the people around me. And since their lives are often so short, it makes it that much tougher.....

My fiancee already has a good chunk of it going to building an animal shelter for unwanted pets. Since there will be a lot of 'em, we'll probably have to buy Upper Michigan just to house them all :) Hawk, You beat me to the punch. I hadn't read all the posts and it looks like we were thinking the same thing and feel just as strongly about protecting the furry ones, since they have such a difficult time protecting themselves. I knew there was something about you that I liked. If you're ever in Oregon, we'll have to hit some coin shops together.

Yeah who knows T much appreciated the offer an kind words. I have a real good friend who once lived in Oregon, and his mother still does to this day. I have heard nothing but good things about Oregon, the amazing green rain forests an mountains always come to my mind when I try an imagine Oregon, or most of the Northwest USA.... I am a SEC guy at heart, esp come college football season and always considered myself T.N. through an thru, via living in the east Tennessee valley my entire 38 years. But I would love to go out west one day for sure, esp Cali, Oregon, Montana (big sky country) Washington, an especially Alaska one day still yet via the ol bucket list of sorts....

OK, this is insane! The estimated jackpot is 640 million, dwarfing the old record of 390 million. The drawing's in 7 minutes.

There it is below a life changing sequence of numbers, who's tickets match these figures.....
Thar she blows like a hump on a snow hill....its, its more money then Moby Dick could swallow in one gulp, lol.....
2-4-23-38-46-MB 23
Why do I have the feeling some low life scum bag who is in charge of a giant work office pool, is gonna mysteriously disappear off the grid now for a few months, before emerging with this ticket and they in question turn out to be an ILLEGAL ALIEN, who in fact will win the case in court by passing all the other work mates in the office pool leaving them hanging out to dry and he then in turns get to keep it all....
Like the fight promoter once said who looked like he stuck his finger in the light socket...."Only in America"
