Found this in my noodling yesturday. I noodle for dates, I don't have much interest in error coins / planchet issues etc - so I don't noodle with an eye to find them. However, this coin popped it's head up yesterday.

It was in the worst condition of the $40 worth of 1c+2c I went through, is it something that should be thrown back in the bucket or would it spark any interest with error collectors?

Poor ole thing! It looks like it's in need of a burial service.

Not anything I'd keep.

Looks like it was loaded into a cannon, fired against a brick wall, run over a few thousand times with a semitrailer and then picked up and taken to the bank. Bit of a shame.

Poor little bugger...I think if it was in better condition it probably wouldn't be a mis-strike. Keep it as a...I'd never do this to you...put it in a little frame & it can watch over your noodling...& maybe give you good luck for being its saviour!
