They need to be kept in a clean environment with low humidity and a stable temperature. mwr1550 Valued Member United States 193 Posts	Posted 07/17/2012 6:54 pm I have an 82 proof set that hazed terribly. I keep it diplayed on my bedroom dresser. I dont know if that had naything to do with the hazing but it bugs me. I'm tempted to get another one (I like that medallion they put in in place of the SBA) but am worried it might haze too. I have NEVER been able to cleanly break one open. Those result in flying plastic shrapnel. The dogs and children dive for cover. The wife leaves the room. I fill the air with verbiage unfit for anyone with any kind of sensitivities. NOT pretty. The new ones, yeah, those are a breeze. I just use a knife blade to pry them open as I dont want to break a nail. Report this Post to the Staff
