I haven't used a metal detector since Iraq for some reason it doesn't have the same appeal anymore.

Wow, my other hobby pales into insignificance compared to some of you. I'm restoring/rebuilding a 1973 Holden HQ GTS Monaro 4 door with a factory 350 Chev. Getting it back as close to factory as possible and it will be a driver for sunny weekends.

Hobby

for one racing organization or a track staffing group, I run a crash truck to pick up motorcycle riders that crash or have mechanical problems on a paved race track. I also corner marshal at bike races or track days in the southeast US as part of the safety crew.

This was a few years ago at VIR in Virginia. I am in the blue jeans.

Well, I don't get online very often and just found this topic so I thought I would bring it back. I've gotten into RC Helicopters in the last year and all I can say is it's about as addictive as the coin collecting hobby. LOL I've still got a long way to go in learning to fly the more advanced ones but it sure is fun!! Here are a few pics of my fleet. Just figured out that some fit really nice in PCGS slab boxes too.

Sorry for the late reply. Original colour, which is Salamanca Red with the black on the bonnet, boot. The same as in the picture. This was before rebuilding.

Apart from fossils, I love biodiversity, evolutionary biology and phylogenetics, and dabble with elapids from time to time.
