Helping a friend selling her PM lot with silver continue upward, allot of Kennedy in 90% and some 40%, most in AU condition.

There are some Walking Liberty and Franklin mix in with pre-64 quarters, Roosevelt dimes and Mercury dimes. I don't have full counts as of the moment, but is around $160-175 in silver. I will break this down in lots in a few days or toward the weekend, and will list it here first in the seller forum.

Here's the photo I taken...

I buy and sell Mercury dimes.

The lots I checked has more Roosevelt dimes in AU-BU condition from the 60's, so is the quarters. I'd see a few dateless SLQ.

What is she asking for quarters? I'm looking for the cheapest ugliest silver quarters I can for some coin rolling at Disney in a month.

Thanks lukemarshall,

I will update the site when I get more time, my real job keeps me away.

To all,

I will talk to my friend today and see how and what to be done. FYI, there are hardly any bad looking coins here, but when it come time I will separate into the lots.

If that photo is of the whole lot, I'd think we're looking at a lot more than ~$170.

Edit: Unless you mean *face* value.

(Also, just for reference, I'm currently in the market for silver Roosevelts, myself. :-) )

Correct Steve,

That is *face* value! I will try to break it into separate lots of 90% Halves, quarters and dimes. And 40% Kennedy.

I will talk to my friend once I get in on how to sell or auction these lots.

As long as your friend is comfortable with your efforts, I applaud your willingness to help out.
Keep her informed as you proceed.
By selling them here, you have chosen a good path.
She can follow the auctions.

Is there at least one coin which you will keep for yourself?

I did something similar, and on a much smaller scale. A family friend.
Among a baggie of 40 per cent Kennedys was a lovely 1864 Two Cent Piece.
The woman was happy with the money that I got for her, and I was happy with this single coin.

YEAH, HONEST CCF PEOPLE who serve their brothers and sisters well.
