So I bought this 1882 CC morgan and the seller on ebay posted it as,

"1882 Morgan 2DBL 882"
" An ultra rare VAM really neat with double 882 and almost all the letters on the reverse are doubled at the top or bottom of reverse letters and has nice clash marks on reverse dont let this on go"

I guess the best thing would be to post a pic, but the pictures on ebay are not clear, if it is what the guy says, should be a decent find.

Any Input will be appreciated.

There is little or no premium for this VAM. All the money is in the MM and the GSA holder.

I knew about the GSA holder cause I looked up the completed auction...

VAM 2 is an R-3, it is very common. It is very though!! But IMHO you should not pay a premium for the coin.

Now that you have seen the auction page, do you think I paid a little too much

I can't tell you that for sure, but most of the 1882 cc GSA's are MS62 to MS64 coins. If your coin grades MS64 or higher, then the price you paid would be appropriate. When you get it in hand, take a nice pic and let us grade it for you.

They are a very cool piece of history!! I really like them.
