Congrats on this great looking set! Roll hunting since last March has made me really start to pay attention to this series. I know what you mean about the 1998 S SMS - missed a slabbed MS69 example for 135.00

It always seems that when I learn enough about anything to want one, during the first round of research I miss the best bargain I ever find! I do not rush into buying anything form experience. So I decided to put off the buying and research. It will likely be a 50+ dollar mistake in the end

Congrats on a nice set. The 8166 is one of my main projects, too. Pushing three years on it now when I got motivated by getting some PL 1990s halves out of my local bank. If I can pick up the 1992-99 silver proof run in one shot, I'm done.
It's quite the heavy book. While you can add one blank page, it'd be too darn heavy! Assuming there'll be a whole new Dansco book, but what'll be the first year(?)
Again, congrats!

Great set!
However, the matte proof won't complete the set. You'll need a 64 SMS for that!
Oh, and don't forget from 2005 P/D to 2010 P/D, you need a satin and busness strike for each!
Wasn't there also Type I and Type II in 1980 and 1981? Not just 1979, correct me if I am wrong?

Congratulations! That is a fine collection.
It's inspiring, I'm working on mine, still have 5 or 6 holes in it. Looking forward to the day I can put pictures up like yours.

Ratio, my intention is to replace the business strikes with satin finish for the album. I have done so for a few of the years. The business strikes will stay in the box o'Kennedy's. 64 SMS? I know there is an accented hair for 64 proof, which I will get at some point, but not sure what what you are talking about with 64 SMS. 65-67 SMS I got. I think the other type I and II was the SBA only in 80. But I could easily be wrong there. Billy, the silver proofs were amazingly expensive. Luckily I did not have to buy every last one as I had some extras from my fathers collection I got. For the album itself, those are the biggest hold ups. PW, dude, last lap! I got really antsy when I hit around 10 to go. I was obsessing like a big dog the last couple months. LOL

That is a very nice collection that you completed. Are you not going to get the 2013's and beyond. I know you're concerned about the Mayan calandar. I have it on good authority that there will be a Christmas this year.
I'm still working on mine but hope to get it completed in the near future?

Quote: I know you're concerned about the Mayan calandar. Yep, that was my concern! LOL Nah, that is just where the book ends. Have to wait and see what they do for the future.
