To become an RCM dealer you have to take most of their coins whether you want them or not if I had an actual retail store I would consider it but most coins from the mint are not worth reselling. 20000 is just a joke

I thought it was serious. Maybe not 20000, but at least 1.000 coins.

Time to open multiple accounts at the Mint for Tuesday's opening to the public. This will be a hot coin. I predict a sell out in one or two days.

Just remember, they are not silver, they are cupro-nickel, so they have zero intrinsic value. And we are coin nuts, very excited , on a coin collectors forum, absolutely no oneI know in the " real " world has ever even heard of these.

That being said, does anyone know what the RCM shipping charges are to the states.? Don't know if I should buy them from the mint or in the after market.

First one on ebay sold for $53.83:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/29085446352...refresh=true

Not a huge profit, around $20. Still more than a 50% profit is not bad. Will be interesting to see if this price trend continues. Hard to say, most people don't even know the second coin has been released. Presales are often risky.

Plus $20 for shipping. Minus fees and actual shipping costs.

For those who think flipping coins on ebay is easy, this how it breaks down:

Selling price: $53.83 - ebay fees (9%):$4.84 - Paypal fee:$1.88 = $47.10
Shipping price: $19.99 - ebay fees (9%):$1.80 - Paypal fee:$0.70 = $17.49

$47.10 + $17.49 = $64.59
minus the original price of the coin = $30.70
minus shipping (profit)= $18 - $21 (depending on location)

minus your time to create the auction, time to package and ship = not a huge profit / hours invested.

It works out better if you have more of the same item, like 10 or 20 coins. Then your margins increase. But to flip one coin, not worth it. But if you are limited to three and keep one flipping only two, you basically get one coin for free. Still worth flipping.
