Would have been better to do a glass snowman! The cane isn't anywhere close to as intricate as the insect coins...

And I wonder why the mint didn't do a 25cent coloured version of the Candy Cane coin, as was done for the insect coins. If it is the forth in the series, where is the forth 25cent coin?

Haha. I am the first one in this forum bring up this issue. (The glass candy cane on the coin so small).
Now more and more people realize that.

Yeah, I was disappointed too. Sent my candy cane back!

A glass snowman or perhaps a snowflake (where each is different...) might have worked better.

Or even a Holiday Love Bug!

The coin is not that bad. I'm still fine with it. But to price it at $150 I feel was a little too greedy even by RCM standards. The candy cane couldn't have been that hard to make. They could have added something to make the coin pop out more it feels like there's to much empty space for that big capsule.

Yes, will be nice idea (as a Christmas gift, I wouldn't buy this for myself).
The deer and Santa, small figures from the Murano glass...I saw some micro figures of animals in the Murano glass factory souvenir gallery/shops. Not more than Eur 10.00

Last week got delay notice this morning I look in my profile says shipped and its in my mailbox lol.
Not that impressed as I said in a earlier post got to see one in person at a Canada post.Alot smaller then I thought the candy cane would be and capsule seems to big for that small candy cane.
I'll still keep it I do like it just not as much as I thought I would.

I was ready to send it back after reading all the negative comments, but I just can't resist beautiful shiny things!

Probably not a good investment but definitely a keeper for me! ;-)

It would be great if they ever decide to release similar coins for other holidays (Easter, Halloween, etc).

I received mine awhile back, I found the candy cane real slender. I would of liked a fatter candy cane, so I returned it to Canada post. It was a great idea in theory, but the execution was lacking. I prefer the autumn bliss and pied fort maple to this coin.
