I was having fun sifting through the ten cent bin at a local coin shop yesterday, and I saw some Canadian pennies that were struck like this and I wondered what the proper words were for the difference. John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 05/11/2014 1:58 pm I may have used the wrong word "full" when I should have used "strong". A full strike may indicate a MS70 grade I am not sure but your coin does look like it had more then the usual pressure-tonnage when minted.
