Hey everyone, as promised here is a break down

A sandwich bag full of pre 1982 pennies

Wheat Cents I think are mostly typical. Let me know if any stand out. Everything is P mm unless otherwise noted.

That's a nice yield from a sandwich bag's worth of cents. The 1947 S is probably the most valuable in the lot but it really comes down to condition. Don't be afraid to post pic's - folks enjoy looking.

Did you check for varieties amongst your LMCs?

I don't look for varieties under a glass, but I keep a naked eye open for them or something seemingly out of the ordinary. If I looked at them all under glass it would take me too long...

I looked at a box of cents* but yielded a sandwich bag of pre 82's as well as the Wheaties.

Yes, the process slows down considerably when looking for varieties. It takes me two weeks to get through a box so I understand your position. I might see a WAM looking through a magnifying lamp, but not much else unless the coin is AU/BU.

Your yield for a box is still pretty reasonable and finding the 47S is a good find. Good luck on the next box!
