I have many coins that would value in the hundreds of dollars but few stand outs exceeding more. I guess all said and done this 1875 s/cc Trade dollar is the most "valuable" were I to try to sell it.

It was a 1922 no d lincoln, ngc graded au55. Posted pics when I first got it, valued at approx $6000+ but not real world price. I did buy a 1970 Chevy k5 blazer with the money though.

If it has a Judd #(J-145)it is a pattern coin. Start a new thread with pictures, if it is what it says, you will get quite the response!

You really should start a thread as amida17 suggested. It has the potential to be a very expensive coin and pictures will help the community here help you to learn more about what you have.

I don't have much in the way of expensive coins (I deal mostly in bulk coins from roll hunting) but my top contender would probably be:

1921 Peace dollar in VF

Bought it out of a lot that I helped appraise about a year ago... I had a deal with the owner's family that I could buy whatever I wanted at the LCS bid price.

I would have to say my 1877 IHC. I have yet to send it in to be graded so I really have not nailed down a value yet.

Wow looking at all these amazing coins makes my little collection insignificant. But I will get there someday (hopefully)!! My most expensive coin is a 1921 AU Morgan dollar. Around $25 bucks. lol... someday..

Most all of us started out with "insignificant" collections so don't let that bother you. To a large extent my collection is still "insignificant" but is is impressive compared to what I started with. But 40 plus years of active collecting will do that, plus the increase in income over that time has allowed me to buy more and more expensive coins. I still don't have much of an income, and my collection isn't high grade, but it is extensive with some truly scarce or rare pieces. Just takes time and effort.
