Thanks guys.
Is it normal for that type that the centre of the reverse (the N in Cent) wears more than the rest?
And what is the current value - approximately?

Because of wear on the laurel wreaths and the extensive wear on the "N" I would grade it at VF15. Value is what you can get for it but probably in the $150- $175 range. (Trend Price)

Weak N resulting from the original strike.
Looks like it might have a two point cross or incomplete cross, above the crown on the reverse.

A vf20 can often be found around $100 on ebay. I am not sure about the wear, always wondered that myself on the earlier coins. |
