I would say closer to F12. Both the hair on the King and the
canoe are well worn.

I would have to agree with the above, to be honest that's the best looking f15 I've seen. Its got nice surfaces, no discolorations, no chatter that stands out and it has the best rims I've seen on a fine.

Have you checked closely for a possible DOT?
sometimes the dot is very shallow.

and while i`m familiar with
the DOT variety, I have no reliable
photos and my old Charlton has no mention.
would anyone have a pic or scan of one
that they could post.?
so i`ll know where to look

One can never give a grade that's reliable with scanned coins, it may be better in hand but, looks F-12 to me too.
