I have a KY State Quarter that is missing the E in the word LIBERTY. I was wondering if I could get any further information about this (number minted in error, apprx. value) TIA

So, I guess this is a common thing and this coin is of no exceptional value?

It is uncommon for this to happen, but not a real rarity.
I had a recent post about a Wheat cent reverse with a missing
S. The explanations of how this happens are posted there.
Usually it is a Grease Filled Die that causes it. I would hold onto
it, as some people collect these types of errors. not a real big premium but worth some. depends again on who wants what etc.
