Hello,

This is one of the few pennies I found that are distinctive looking in error.

I am not sure if this penny is an error or just got damaged in the past.

Any help is appreciated.

The picture's not very clear. Judging by the damage/wear on the date and rim, I would suspect the mint stamp wasnt exempt from the same wear and tear.
