1874 Trade Dollar - Altered - Coin Community Forum

mrctn New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 07/04/2016 7:44 pm This 1874 Trade dollar was given to my Mother in 1929 attached to a ribbon. It was a "teething dollar." There was a note attached to it in my Grandmother's handwriting stating who gave it and it's purpose. What is the value of such a coin? Report this Post to the Staff

Perhaps that is what someone may pay to buy retail. On that value basis a dealer would offer much less, so that he could make a profit. Report this Post to the Staff
