I have noticed that even the most rare of the Buffalo nickels were selling at discounts in VF to EF grades. I think when you get to MS63 then the seller can command higher prices. One of the guys here bought some Buffalo's at really deep discounts. I was buying 1921-S in Fine for VG price and same went for other scare ones being able to buy VF at F price and EF at VF prices. The ones I bought were mostly raw. I got to check prices. I might try to look at them again and buy coins up to where they really jump in value. You notice most coins have a take-off grade where price really jumps. I try to buy just below that level. Report this Post to the Staff
