I found a 2017 50 cents coin in Melbourne CBD.  I am also still waiting for 2016 the 50th anniversary of decimal currency 1 dollar coin.  I finished gathering all change over coins except one dollar. Where are they?

They are pretty hard to come by , I myself came across just 2 so far since they are in circulation .

In that case, you're doing better than me. The only commemorative $1 coin I can find for last year is the ANZAC one.

Is there any update on the 2017 release. I haven't seen any denomination yet in Adelaide.

From memory:
Standard 50c are in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth
ANZAC $1 are Brisbane
ANZAC $2 are in Melbourne

Is there an update on which of the 2017s are being found in circulation? I have only seen the 50cents in Adelaide.

I'm on the NSW/Qld border and I've only come across one 20c and one 50c coin. Looking at the numbers minted in the latest RAM annual report it's no wonder (except for the 10c). Interesting to see that no 5c coins were minted in the first half of the year but they must have started releasing them not long after as they have been turning up on ebay. Might have do a little noodling to try and fill all those empty 2017 spaces before we hit 2018! |

It's obvious that the 5c were minted as the sets of rolls of 2017 coins are available from RAM. They're just pretty pricey at $220 for $90 FV. Coins on ebay may have been taken from purchased rolls is what I'm saying. I've only found 1 x 2017 50c in circulation so far. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

I had found Standard 2017 50 Cents Coin before,
I had also found 2017 ANZAC $2 coins in change at Hungryjacks and
I recently found 2017 20 Cents coins in change at Woolworth self counter machine.
And I bought 2017 the 50th anniversary of Mabo 50 Cents coins and
2017 ANZAC $1 coins from RAM eshop.
I am still waiting for 2017 5, 10, $1, $2 coins.

Found the normal 2 dollar coin. Having a tough one this year. I find it really hard to find any colored coins for a while! So far only found the 20 cents and 2 dollar coin... Have been missing a fair bit from the last few years.
