just a couple of quick scans. I would like to know if this is off center enough to be considered an error and if it adds value. also compared to modern bills, the serial #'s look low, are they?
Thanks
sorry about the low quality, even for me, but I had to shrink them alot to fit.

The serial numbers are not shifted enough, and you really can't compare them with the newer ones. The off-center looks pretty signifigant to me.

This is a Federal Reserve Note (not a gold certificate). I don't believe this would be considered an error as it was common for the serial numbers to touch things like the seal, signature, and what not. I believe that was the reason why they shrank some of the design elements in the 1950 series.

I just figured it was a gold note, since it says redemmable for gold on demand. What do you think about the up and right shift?

I think this note would be considered normal for this series.
