Well..its been a few months since the last post on this thread and I'm starting to feel pretty stupid about selling my only FL coin for 400 bucks..Now I will be paying Mario 600 plus for the best deal if I want one in the short term but thats not going to happen anytime soon so....I think maybe we can all agree now that this coin is the hottest coin of 2018? ha ha or not its still selling at 600 plus but sales are few and far between so I think that by xmas buying period the price will drop as the desperate sellers want to cash in on their good luck...5 gets you 10 there will be another UFO coin released in 2019

I have sold recently some coins, and 'freshly' can repeat the known fact: with the years the hype disappears.
Yes, you still can sell the 2012 Farewell to Penny Special Wrap Roll for CAD 80 , but doubtfully will sell 2012 Penny Set for CAD 500...
Same with the UFO - you've sold it for 400, might be now could sell for 500, but the next year the price could drop to 300.

Bought 2 pcs Falcon Lake Incident Coin from Power Coin through Amazon at USD$171.95 each in early April. Never show up. Had to file dispute in August to get my money back. p.s. Power Coin claimed serious delay in Canada Customs ( 4 months + delay? ) |

I was quite surprise this morning when I received package from Power Coin. Power Coin claimed package shipped in April but serious delay in Canada Customs. I filed a dispute with Amazon by the end of August for not receiving coins.and got refund ASAP. Just withdrew my claim with Amazon few minutes ago. ( Amazon will recharge same amounts it refunded. ) 5 months wait on 2 pcs Falcon Lake Incident Coin. Unbelievable. |

only 7 Falcon Lake UFO coins available now starting at 526CAD obo....Looks like this coin will remain in the medium high range for a silver "coin"..I will definitely get another one. .. one sold on bids for 370.00 recently.....I would think that the RCM will release another uFO coin in 2019...The UFo coins in general are popular and selling in the 2-300 range consistently. I see that the flashlight is still for sale at 30 bucks! |

Im very pleased that I won a Falcon Lake UFO auction yesterday on bids..344.00cad plus shipping 15.00. One of the lower priced sales for sure. So now I will hopefully have at least one of these scarce coins in hand for my collection. Sales are pretty slow now but still in the 500 plus range. guess I got lucky! I'm sure the RCM will come out with another UFO coin in 2019 based on the popularity of this one. |

thanks L for N!..Im still waiting for the coin but I'm sure it will get here someday despite the postal slowdown. I sold my only FL coin for around 400.00 for some reason thinking that the price would eventually start to drop back to about 260. Now I'm not so sure about that anymore..I am going to keep better track of the RCM releases in 2019 in anticipation of the next UFO coin. The RCM is never one to overlook a hot streak and will almost certainly release another UFO coin this coming year. I will be gunning for another FL coin as well or two as I believe this coin will be like superman 2013 gold and hold value..But there is solid resistance below 500.00..I got lucky at 344.00 which is the lowest price it has sold at in a while.  |

I'm sure if there is a second UFO coin, it will not be nearly as in demand. And the prices will continue to drop over time.

I generally don't care for colorized coins but this is neat! Even better under a black light. You should take it to the market and scan it when no one is looking. See if it causes a to do like when Sculley scanned the metal object from her alien abduction.   |

I finally received the Falcon Lake coin. A bit battered due to the fact that the seller just threw the RCM box into a tiny bubble mailer with no wrap at all. Sheesh....The flashlight was completely corroded inside so I replaced the battery cartridge and cleaned it up and now it works fine to illuminate the effects of the coin which are spectacular. A better use of black lite effects is hard to imagine and probably a major reason why this coin is so popular. Did I mention it only has one half of the plastic holder as well. This was explained to me in the seller description but in my haste to win the item I didnt even read the description!! lol...So my great deal did come with a few minor problems ..if anyone knows how I can get another egg shaped plastic holder I would pay a fair price for one. Anyways its going into my collection to remain untouchable while I am alive to enjoy it.  |
