I'm curious on possible value and grade. Sorry I'm new at this...also the lines around the S ? Is that an error? Thanks in advance!

The lines around the S are likely PMD

Grade is way up there. MS something

From the lighting I'd say SP-65 or 66. Cameo, small beads. around $140. But the scratches might take it down to a 63-64 and less money.
If it's an MS grade of the same then worth around $7-$11.

PL65 Heavy Cameo
$5-$7
Possible strike through where lines are.
In all seriousness you are more likely to win a major lottery than find by chance a 1965 specimen nickel.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thanks so much. I have another 1965..about the same kind of shape. I bought a book of Nickels off a swap and buy. I do have others that are scratch free...I think they are "proof" as obverse is frosted. I have added a closer picture of the lines through and near S.
