Hi guys:

Are these worth anything more than spot?

These are uncleaned and still have some luster on it. Especially the 1906, it has almost a cartwheel luster when rotated in hand.

Thanks for your help!

US gold coins have a slight premium over spot, especially your 1908-D. But most of the value is in the gold. I would expect a buyer to pay a premium of $0-50 per coin, to resell at $50-100 premium.

I am no expert on detecting counterfeits, but something doesn't look right with the 1908 indian. It looks a little too smooth and the face of the indian looks like she is giving a snarling look.

Can you post some better pics of the 1908-D. Something appears off about it at first glance. But I could be wrong.

Surfaces on the '06D look most attractive to my eye, but I suppose more pics wouldn't hurt.

The 1906 is a nice looking coin, but something looks weird about the 1908.

The Denver Mint is a branch of the United States Mint that struck its first coins on February 1, 1906 (Just FYI).

The 06 coin looks to be high end AU. The rim ding on the reverse hurts it.

The 08 coin looks like a "questionable authenticity" coin to me. It has no luster, is overdipped and has a washed out appearance. It just doesn't look "right" to these tired old eyes.
