Yet it has an abundance of doubling. Almost all the lettering. Is this PMD since it's so rough? Please school me in this. I respect all of your opinions. Report this Post to the Staff

One day I'll find that one treasured piece, as for now these spendables are wonderful for reference coins of examples of different damage and what causes it. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/06/2019 11:29 am Note on the reverse 'OLD'. That shows you the direction of the Machine Doubling. (affecting the lower part of these devices) On the obverse note Quarter Dollar. You can see a lot of Die Deterioration on these devices. Even the 'T' is showing DDD. Also USA is as well. Note that the the DDD is always towards the closest rim direction. The Motto shows the direction to the East, the LIBERTY to the West. So when you see enlargement of the devices all towards the rim, it is Die Deterioration Doubling. Report this Post to the Staff
