I voted #3. To me it looks more three dimensional. While on the subject of the Jefferson, I've received several 2018's on multiple occasions that have a rather stronger strike and shine to them than those of past years. They do stand out, I must say. Perhaps improved techniques such as die plating and polishing? Almost proof-like. Can't say about the 2019 since I have none yet.

#3 is refreshing, time for change
#1 is classic, hard to let go
#2 is just that, #2

#2 does not look like Jefferson. #3 is a nice change, but I think most people would be hard pressed to recognize Jefferson-- it looks like a monkey. So, I vote #1.

@Big-Kingdom, reason I don't like #3 is I think it's weird to have him staring back at the viewer. If coins were cameras.... I'd probably be gettin yelled at

1 by a mile and not because it's "classic" or nostalgia, I just really dislike how 2 and 3 turned out. I'm all for change but we can do better than that

I like the original because with my failing eyesight, I find it hard to distinguish the newer design nickels from the quarters when I drag in (or give away) the poker "pot". {õ¿õ} killjoy wuz here.

Might sound crazy for this, but #3's my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I still very much admire #1, but #3 seems the most natural and fitting in my honest opinion. In addition it's refreshing to get a 3/4 angle of Jefferson's face as opposed to the same profile done to death on every other coin. Part of the reason I imagine this sticks out poorly to others is because it clashes with all the other designs for not being a profile. I'd be delighted if the rest of the coins were given face lifts like the nickel, because honestly I could go for any modification now, the current designs have long overstayed their welcome.

I actually like that its not just another profile, I just think it was executed poorly. Aside from cutting off part of his head it looks like he has a mullet which as glorious as those are I'm pretty sure Jefferson didn't rock one.

I voted for #1, but I actually prefer the bust before they accented his hair. #2 is fine with me for a one year issue. #3 is horrendous to me.

Also, in certain lighting he gets the "creepy eyes."

While I enjoy looking at my coins, it's kind of unsettling when they look back at me.

True that. Jefferson was not from West Virginia.
