Here's another copper Indian coin that I am at a loss for. It's 22mm and 4.2 grams. Any ideas?

Nice coin. I'm pretty sure this one's not Indian. It appears to be Islamic, possibly Ayyubid. Here's a coin somewhat similar in general style (writing enclosed by a square) but far from a match. Perhaps this can get you in the ballpark.

I believe it's Ilkhans, Uljaytu (Khudabanda Muhammad), 1304-1316, AE fals, Album 2190. The flan is smaller than the dies but the obverse seems to read al-sultan al-a'zam / Ghiyath al-dunya wa al-din / Khudabanda Muhammad / khallad Allah mulkahu .

This one is very similar except the obverse is within a circle rather than a square: https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=176347

This one has the obverse within a square but the reverse is retrograde: https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=96675
