Quote:I have tempted to get the pair that came from my 2015 ( Presidential dollar) mint set graded... Yeah I toyed with that as well. I don't have an account with PCGS so I'd have to get that set up and paid for. It would just be so much more convenient if someone would list one instead.

Looks like you're putting a lot of time and effort into this collection! Can't wait to see the finished product.

@T_F_F, thanks! It's been a lot of fun. These two showed up in my mailbox over the past couple of days, bringing me closer to the finish line. Both of the coins exhibit what almost seems like fingerprints in the zoomed-in shots, but I can't make the lines out with the naked eye. Not sure - would PCGS grade them 65 if they had fingerprints? Regardless I didn't pay too much for these and may look for upgrades (or at least spot/fingerprint-free pieces) in the future. 1977D PCGS MS65 1978D PCGS MS65

Nice pair! Quote: Both of the coins exhibit what almost seems like fingerprints in the zoomed-in shots, but I can't make the lines out with the naked eye. Not sure - would PCGS grade them 65 if they had fingerprints? If they are not visible to the naked eye, then the grader did not see them. I believe they grade without any magnification.

Looking good CelticKnot. I'm working on my Eisenhower set but not slabbed. I'm just filling in my Dansco album.

A mailbox bit of fun today; the somewhat-elusive 2015P PCGS slabbed Ike: ...and yes, jbuck, my 2015D is a PCSGS MS67 position B as well.

I too have gotten into the slabbed Eisenhower dollars, and have a complete set of the proofs, silver and clad, and I currently have the best in catagory lowball ikes on the ngc site.
