I found a 1966 penny and the 6's are different. One turns inward like it supposed to and comes to a flat and the other goes a little further in and comes to a point. Is this the way it should be? I tried to find an image online but couldnt. Can someone help with this?

It's a normal date. When you add in the human factor, it's not unusual to have minor differences in the digits.

Best way to find out if it is out of the normal is to ask or compare it to other examples from that year/mint mark.
