I've read an article on a 2000 Massachusetts gold color coin sayingit was an unauthorized test planchet coin for the sacajiwia . Reason for being of any interest is I've got a 2010 yosemite state park quarter that's gold.
You will also notice There is no L in libertyI've tried looking up info on this and would like some more input as far as value goes. Would love any input on this. Yourthoughts?

If it were on a Sac Dollar planchet you would see a copper strip edge, This coin doesn't have that, indicating it's been plated post mint.

This is one of the HSN plated coins they sold to the rubes buying the State Quarter series. Only worth face value. Plating a coin ruins the collectable state of a coin to a true collectors.

@lynette, yes sure looks like an aftermarket plating job worth face value, but knowing the weight would be the clincher.
