I agree, and I'll also add in luster. If the coin is full of luster but all the devices are flat, then you know it is high grade. Luster is my first impression to every coin.

I was looking at this one as a VF-30/35. I think it could be higher (@numismatic student may be correct at XF-45) - the perimeters are strong and the eagle is very well struck for an O-108. Many have very faint eagle beak and head. I liked the originality (at least I hope) as many of these have been cleaned and dipped to death.

I won this for $630 (delivered and juice included). I feel like I did very well with this one and may even need to break down and spend the money to get it graded. A nice looking draped bust half has been on my list for a while.

i'll stick with my netted grade of VF35. if I have in hand photos I ignore TV's and the original photos are excellent to assess by
