1981 D Penny Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ? Possiblity?

On a doubled die, they would be enlarged making the devices taller/wider. This contour reducing is seen a lot on machine doubled coins. Not a doubled die. A doubled die coin, some from a doubled die issue. Machine Doubling is never a doubled die. You can have a machine doubled die coin with Machine Doubling, but that is caused by a loose machine. The doubling on the die is what creates a doubled die coin. Report this Post to the Staff
