Close-up pics would help but given how obvious the DD is on the 'big' one, you would know instantly. Most likely MD.

Yes @vogo, remember that step-like doubling which serves to decrease the width of the device will be Machine Doubling. This is especially visible on the 9 and 6 in the date on your coin. Also, for whatever reason, md is prevalent on cents of the late 1960s and early 1970s. That isn't to say that there are no doubled dies in this timeframe, but rather you just need to be more wary.

Yes, '69 S memorial cents are notorious for Machine Doubling.
