It is a large date, but you need to weight it to see if it is copper or copper plated.

Thank y'all for your help. I'm fairly new to coin collecting. I definitely get excited at times and hope to come across a nice error.

I have a couple date 1982. One coin is 1982 weighing 2.5 grams instead of the 3.1 grams. Is this normal? Seeking information on them if I can get helpful info.

The 2.5 gram weight is the Zinc Core cent. The rare variety is 3.0 grams with a small date & "D" mintmark.
