Hello again!

I am once again here to ask for Y'all's expert opinion. This nickel edge or rim keeps catching my eye. It may be nothing but PMD. but it's the same consistency of lines around the entire coin which has me wondering. Could this be a minting Error?

I have posted a few pictures below, but please let me know If I may provide any further detail or additional pictures!

Thank you & have a great day!

-Ashton

@aso, I'm seeing some flow lines, especially on the obv that are from die wear (and that is very common). Specific to the edge though, it wouldn't surprise me if the collar that causes the rim also wears over time and creates these sorts of lines.

I was thinking that the collar was wearing out. The obverse and reverse is showing Die Deterioration and die flow lines, from die wear.

I do have to ask that in the future, please do not post photos of scope screens. Use the memory card or a USB cable to transfer images. We like to have as much detail as possible and a photo of a screen adds artifacts that affect quality.

I think this is what Spence is referring too. I'm still learning the "error" side of things.
