I picked up this 1832 Classic Head Half Cent for my 7070. This is the first Half Cent I've owned, so I'm curious to get your opinions on grade.

I say beautiful chocolate brown original surfaces with great eye appeal. Well selected indeed.

I have no expertise on the series, but suggest a VF20/25 grade would be appropriate.

I'm in the VF camp also. That's a really nice coin, CollegeBarbers - certainly worthy of being in your 7070.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

she looks like C-1 variety, compare N in CENT. it only commands a little premium when VF30 or above

Thanks, panzaldi! I'm no good with identifying varieties, so I appreciate your investigative work!
