Tough one, looks slightly better than an average 63, but not nice enough for 64. High end MS-63.

the 89(P) can come in soft so the breast is pretty normal for the year. looks like some spotting and chatter here and there. nothing that would say MS62 but not clean enough for a 64. process of elimination MS63

I think the photo may over-emphasize the neck and cheek marks, but there is additional chatter on the cap and eye. I agree with MS63, but it may pull a 64 on a good day.

I agree with MS-63 here. It has the look of a silver rush era bag coin, with nice original luster and one side (the reverse here) with far fewer contact marks than the other. By itself, the reverse would easily make MS-64/64+.

Trying to figure out what those lines are in the southeast quadrant of the obverse are. They don't look like scratches but maybe clash marks?

Not a die clash. Looks like a long scratch to me. Surprising that it didn't show at all on the seller photos. I think that would definitely detail the coin. Looks like possibly a VAM-42 by the way.

I'll narrow down my estimate at MS63 with these new photos. If those lines turn out to be scratches, it will detail the coin as stated above. I might ask for a refund since they didn't show up in the seller's photos.
