Awesome finds! I have always wanted to find a box like that, but most likely never will. Please pick up a few more boxes for this week and let us know how you do. Armored car services usually get coins in batches and you may find more silver. Best of Luck to you - save some silver for the rest of us By the way, those wrappers look pretty old, I have never seen wrappers like those before. They may be rotating their inventory. Were all three boxes wrapped the same?

all three boxes were wrapped the same. The wrappers were a bit looser than I would normaly expect them to be. None of the boxes had dates on them, and I already went back and ordered two more boxes for next week.

Xavier of Green-
Any updates since you found this megabox? We haven't heard from you in awhile and I was wondering if you found anything else since.

Well I found a few 90% here and there, a 1909 20 lira from italy, a 87 s proof nickel, a 1937 Buffalo nickel, but nothing like the scale of that mega box. I've been going through alot of nickels and am trying to finish the jeffersons from circulation. I did send out a 2009 Ultra High Relief that came back as a MS69 proof like. I've still have at least 95% of the halves I found from the Mother of All Boxes, and have been waiting paitently for silver to rise up to $15 bucks. Perhaps ill post a few more of them in the sell section when I have the time.

Hello XOG

I am new to this and just started to search JFK rolls for about a month now. I do appreciate coins, the history and the beauty.. Its wonderful that you can find a 1917 coin "in the wild" for 50 cents!
Just spoils me for buying a walker for anything more ( although I will for a "set"), no matter what shape its in, its worth more to us just for the fact we "found" it.

I was just posting and saying that I think "customer rolls" are more likely to produce silver than "fed" rolls. Of course I was referring to people cashing in their collections now because of the economy and to the rumors I heard flying around that Brinks "strip the rolls".

Then Ratman gave me a link to your pics.....oh woooooooowwwwwwwww!!

I have had some luck with customer rolls and tend to go with that, although I have gone thru some fed rolls.

....you have since changed my mind.

It goes to show that there is abundance in the universe , enough
for everyone, and we just have to believe we are deserving ( as we are!)

And you , my friend, are one LUCKY DOG!
