Today I picked up 35 Morgan dollars from a dealer box marked uncirculated. After calculating what I paid for all it worked out to $49.59 each so I'll call it $50 bucks a pop. Like the earlier, smaller batch of 17, I will post these at a rate of about 1 per day through to the end of the year so that we can grade them together and I don't clutter the grading forum with just my coins. All are common dates and they marked them uncirculated but we will see. Looking through them, some of them are really pretty and others look baggy. As always, let me know your thoughts on grade and other grading adjacent issues. I will start with one of the nicer ones in the lot. I also think my photography skills have improved a lot, especially after I got my new phone. Thanks for looking and contributing your thoughts!

Nice one!

Definitely UNC. The strike is a bit soft. There is a lot of little chatter, but not too many heavy dings. The nicks on the bridge of the nose, middle of the cheek, and hair under the ear are the heaviest on the obverse, and they aren't bad. The eagle had a bit of a sword fight, and the gash near the top of the eagle's breast is the heaviest. The rims look good. The luster is nice. I'm at MS-64 here.

Nice first coin! I agree with a solid MS-64, and maybe a chance at 65.

way better photos NS. the 85(P) are above average for strike and this one exhibits that. a solid MS64. nice pickup
