hello, would really appreciate some help here with the grades and Values of these. these are just a few that I have an exclusive opportunity to purchase. There is a collection of 46 coins. coppers, silver and Gold, all Canadian. BUT, they are in Europe. It is tricky, as the only images I have are scans with all the coins on them. These I cropped out but I think they are ok to post. as I said, I would really be grateful for realistic evaluations of these. thank you so much

If someone would ring in and evaluate that they are not chinese fakes then your set. These are in great shape..just look at the detail on the Newf. Im almost 100% positive the cent is not fake..just look at the die cracks on the obverse at the 7 and 4 position. Whats going on with the toning on the 1871,,someone only cleaned one side? Hope you get them cheap and everything pans out ok for you.and especially if some expert chimes in and give you 100% certainty what ya got there. I can hardley wait for the verdict as well

I have NO idea if it is cleaned or not... BUT, knowing that the seller has a coin collection valued conservatively at well over 1 Million Euro (all German and british and french Colonial coins in high MS and proofs. has the german New Guinea 10 and 20 mark ( both gold) in proof twice..alone worth over 100,000 euro , I somehow do not think that these coins have been cleaned. he purchased them together with what he really wanted about a year ago from a german widow. the key for me is the 1871H 50 cent... if I could only decide on a minimum grade....

Good spotting Dan, funny looking King Edward V11 on the 1902.. The Victoria obverse looks good though.. just the wrong year..

The 1871 H 50 cents has nice detail, Maybe as high as AU, However, there are obvious scatches on both sides......Cleaned must be added, value now at VF. IMO

I see no issues of authenticity of any of the 50 cent coins, however the back ground varience of colour may cause me some concern....if I did not know the seller.

hhbkiddo, here's my take on the grades I would be comfortable with:
1900 - VF30 1874 - VF35 1871 - EF40 1870 - EF40
