It's a circulated, common-date coin so if you must put a Morgan dollar into a jewelry piece this was a good choice. Mounting the bezel probably inflicted some rim damage so if you take it off you will likely have a circulated, damaged common-date Morgan. I'd just keep it as a key ring and enjoy the novelty. Or, you can pass it on as a nice gift for a young numismatist! Report this Post to the Staff
echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 04/08/2010 10:23 pm This would be a nice pocket coin, the bezel looks like one of those screw top types so it's easy enough to remove it. I wouldn't keep it on the key ring, I've seem them come lose and the coin getting lost. Report this Post to the Staff
