So, I've been putting my ebay bucks to good use filling in some holes in my slq set; first being a nice 1918-d Standing Liberty quarter.

Nice, if I had seen, I probably would have made you fight for it.

Great orginial problem free SLQ, I've been looking for an 18-D for a while.

Thanks! Even though there is extensive wear, I like the fact that there is still some detail in the breast plate. Any grade estimates?

VG-10, I especially like the original crusty look of it. I was stuck between VG 8 and 10, but I'll have to go with 10.

Nice, original coin! Very close to Fine, but I just can't get past VG10, due to the date, and wear on the shield. I'd say: PQ VG.

You receive ebay bucks when you sign up for it on ebay and it amounts to a voucher worth 2% of your total purchases over 3 months.
You guys were tough on this one, I thought it was a solid F-12. :-)

Johnny...from "acoin.com"

Fine (F) - Moderate to heavy even wear. Entire design clear and bold.

Fine is labelled F-12 in the Sheldon scale. Your average 1965 quarter from circulation is Fine. A lot of the details are gone, but you can still see a good deal of the design.

Very Good (VG) - Well worn. Design clear, but flat and lacking details.

Very Good is VG-8 on the Sheldon scale. The entire design is weak, but a few details are visible. Full rims are nearly always a requirement for this grade. A full rim means that you can see a line around the edge of the coin where it was raised up.

Good (G) - Heavily worn. Design and legend visible but faint in spots.

On some coins, full rims are not required for this grade. You must be able to read the date and mint mark.

Keep in mind, those are general grading guides. Many coins can defy those standards.
