Do you think that I should remove it from the keyring or keep it complete as it is?
By the way, any one know what VAM it is, slanted S to the left but I can't see any doubling in the date? BTW I paid £21 about $31

I'd grade it at about EF-45. It's a circulated, common-date coin so if you must put a Morgan dollar into a jewelry piece this was a good choice. Mounting the bezel probably inflicted some rim damage so if you take it off you will likely have a circulated, damaged common-date Morgan. I'd just keep it as a key ring and enjoy the novelty. Or, you can pass it on as a nice gift for a young numismatist!

This would be a nice pocket coin, the bezel looks like one of those screw top types so it's easy enough to remove it. I wouldn't keep it on the key ring, I've seem them come lose and the coin getting lost.

yeah, lose the bezel. This is one of those "Worth less than the sum of it's parts" situations
