I have an MS 1878 Morgan the bottom of the D in Dollar is missing is this a VAM? Thanks for looking I'm new to this so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Stevangolf,

Pictures are always helpful, but we can narrow the list quickly with just that one pick-up point. Assuming it's an 1878-P, 7 tail feather variety, go to VAMWorld.com and look at VAMs 134, and 190-199. These all have the broken 'D' in Dollar.

Thanks SeatedNut I checked on vamworld and it does appear to be 190 - 199 will try and post a pic later to give you some help
